As we reported last week, a scene in the upcoming film Gangster Squad featuring a shootout in Hollywood’s Grauman’s Chinese Theatre had been cut and “reconceived” after the July 20 theater shooting in Aurora, CO. The movie’s premiere date was also pushed back to from September 7 to January 11 to accommodate the changes.
Those “reconceived” scenes were shot in Los Angeles’ China Town last week. Most of the movie’s cast, including Josh Brolin, Ryan Gosling, and Robert Patrick, were on the set, located on Broadway in the Central Plaza.
