As we reported, Martin Scorsese began filming his latest movie, The Wolf of Wall Street, in lower Manhattan today.

The movie, based on the book by Jordan Belfort, follows a New York stockbroker in the 1980s who refuses to cooperate in a large securities fraud case involving “corruption on Wall Street, the corporate banking world, and mob infiltration.”

Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, Matthew McConaughey, Jon Favreau, and Kyle Chandler star in the film which hits theaters next year.

  1. Hmmm, interesting they are using a NYC bus from 2012 when the movie is set in the 80s. I guess they couldn’t get one from the period. Funny to see a bus on Nassau Street, that would never happen IRL, only in the movies. Leo’s suit is so ’80s with the double breasted jacket and huge shoulders.

  2. They will likely cut the bus out. They filmed a scene with tourist standing right behind them so if they can cut out the tourist they can cut out the bus
