Back in May we broke the news that the Selena Gomez/Ethan Hawke movie The Getaway was going to shoot in Atlanta after spending three weeks in Bulgaria, but when Selena started shooting another project in June we gave up on the Atlanta shoot, until now!
Last week CL Casting posted casting notices looking for stand-ins for Selena and Ethan for a shoot taking place on Wednesday, September 12, Friday, September 14, and Saturday, September 15.
There’s no word yet about where exactly the movie will be filming in Atlanta, but if you spot them, be sure to let us know at olv@onlocationvacations.com!
The Getaway is a a remake of the 1972 film starring Steve McQueen and Ali MacGraw.
The movie is called just “Getaway” not “The Getaway” and it isn’t a remake, it is a original story. Here is what the movie is about, Getaway is the gritty, exciting action thriller from Warner Bros. in which former race car driver Brent Magna is pitted against the clock as he commandeers a custom Shelby Cobra Mustang, taking it and its unwitting owner on a high-speed adventure at the command of a mysterious villain on a race against time to save the life of his kidnapped wife.
Anyway, it sounds so good.
