Cuba Gooding Jr. is headed to Connecticut for his next film, Extra needed

Cuba Gooding Jr. is headed to Bridgeport, Connecticut for his next movie role and producers are looking for extras to appear with him.

An open casting call for background actors will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 18, at the Downtown Bridgeport Public Library. The casting call begins at 10 a.m. for members of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. The general public may attend from 1 to 7:30 p.m. Filmmakers are looking for all type of men and women between 18 and 60 years old.

The movie is described as “a story of a journey to freedom, and the unshackled spirit of the human heart.”

UPDATE: The movie is called Something Whispered and it revolves around the Underground Railroad. There will be another casting call on Friday at the Bradley Playhouse in Putnam, CT too.
