It’s not uncommon for Toronto, Montreal, or even Boston to fill in for New York City in a movie, but Buffalo?
That’s exactly what happened in the upcoming Werewolf flick, Ward’s Island, starring Craig Sheffer, Ariana Richards and Dennis Haysbert. The movie has been filming NYC-set action scenes at various locations around Buffalo, NY including The Lafayette, the Michigan Avenue Bridge, and the Buffalo Police Headquarters.
Haysbert checked out some of the city’s local attractions, (literally) taking in Niagara Falls and a Buffalo Bill game.
The three week shoot was expected to wrap up today in Buffalo.
