Extras needed in Kentucky for ’50 to 1′

The upcoming movie 50 to 1 (previously Wild Ride), about the team who came together to send long shot Mine that Bird to a win at the 2009 Kentucky Derby, is currently looking for extras.

The film is wrapping up production in New Mexico, where they have been filming in Albuquerque, Las Cruces, Santa Fe, and the Sunland Park Racetrack, and will soon move on to Kentucky where they will film the Kentucky Derby scenes on October 12th, 13th, and the 16th- 18th.

Since they will need large crowds to recreate Mine that Bird’s big win, they are looking for lots of paid extras in Kentucky.

Casting is taking place tomorrow, October 9, at Heyman Talent at 1205 E. Washington Street, suite 107 until 3:00 pm. Queries can also be sent to minethatbirdbackground@gmail.com. If you take part in the Derby shoot, let us know about it at olv@onlocationvacations.com!

50 to 1 stars Skeet Ulrich, William Devane, Madelyn Deutch, Todd Lowe, and David Atkinson.
