The new RoboCop reboot, which is currently filming in Toronto, has been approved for $294,000 in Michigan Film Incentives for second unit shooting they will be doing in Detroit.
We’ve heard the RoboCop Detroit shoot won’t include any of the movie’s main cast and will mostly be aerial and exterior shots of some of Detroit’s famous landmarks.
Also approved for Michigan Incentives this week was Detroit Rubber, a webseries executive produced by Eminem that chronicle two young small-business owners, Rick Williams and Roland (Ro) Coit of the Burn Rubber sneaker shop in Royal Oak, MI.
Both projects are expected to begin lensing in Michigan soon.
