For the first time in two years the film industry is returning to Grand Rapids, MI this month.
Rumors of War, starring Lou Diamond Phillips and Eric Roberts, will begin filming in Grand Rapids on Monday, Nov. 5.
The “faith-based thriller” focuses on a college student who writes about end-time prophecies in a diary, which is found many years later, in a post-apocalyptic society.
The movie is using the area’s universities to its advantage. Rumors of War has set up a production office at Compass College of Cinematic Arts and will film on the Cornerstone University from Nov. 7-16. Students from both school will help out on the set as well.
