Understandably, True Blood fans have been apprehensive about new showrunner Mark Hudis taking over for Alan Ball in season 6, but based on his plans for Bill, it doesn’t sound like they have much to worry about.
“Certainly he’s not going to be the Bill we know and love,” says Hudis of the character’s evolution in season 6. “He’s going to have more bite, no pun intended.”
Hudis plans to bring the action back to Bon Temps and focus on telling fewer stories with more characters.
True Blood star Joe Manganiello recently told the Huffington Post he’s excited about some of the changes.
“This is Season 6 and the first couple scripts I read -– I think they’re doing a lot of stuff that they maybe held back on the past couple years,” He said. “They’re pretty wild. I think it’s going to be a pretty wild season.”
On Wednesday, January 23, Fangbanger Productions will be filming scenes for True Blood at 526 S Rimpau Blvd, Los Angeles from 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM.
