A new independent holiday movie, entitled “An Evergreen Christmas”, is currently filming in North Carolina.
The movie began filming earlier this month in Gaston, Lincoln and Mecklenburg counties, using various locations including the Stowe Dairy Farm in Gastonia.
“An Evergreen Christmas” follows country girl, Evergreen “Evie” Lee (Charleene Closshey), who left the farm for city life but returns home for a funeral and finds the family home in jeopardy of foreclosure. Naomi Judd, Greer Grammer, Robert Loggia and Booboo Stewart also star.
The movie has also been looking for locals to appear as extras. If you’re interested in applying to be an extra, visit Facebook.com/AnEvergreenChristmasCasting.
