Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, Rick Yune, and director Antoine Fuqua visited with men and women of service at the Naval Station in San Diego and Camp Pendleton on Saturday, March 16, 2013, prior to a special screening of their new movie Olympus Has Fallen.
“Visited the San Diego Navy Base and the Marines yest. AMAZING! Made me proud to be (almost) an American!” Gerard wrote on Facebook. “My highlight of this journey so far was seeing the Marines’ enjoyment of the movie at Camp Pendleton.”
Olympus Has Fallen follows disgraced former Presidential guard Mike Banning (Butler) who finds himself trapped inside the White House in the wake of a terrorist attack; using his inside knowledge, Banning works with national security to rescue the President (Eckhart) from his kidnappers.
