Just last week the Michigan Film Office announced Transformers 4 would (partially) filmed in the state this spring and already production signs for the movie have been spotted in Pontiac.
One of out Twitter followers, @Matt_Boyd, told us there are yellow signs for “a production named ‘E7’ off the highway near Raleigh Studios in Pontiac, Michigan.” These are the same signs used for Transformers: Dark of the Moon when they were filming in Michigan, Illinois, and California a couple of years ago.
It was also reported the movie would use Michigan Motion Picture Studios in Pontiac, MI (formerly Raleigh Studios as @Matt_Boyd mentioned) as its home base while in Michigan so it makes sense the signs were spotted near the stages.
We’re not sure if filming is officially underway or, more likely, if they are gearing up begin shooting at the studio soon.
If you spot these ‘E7’ signs around or have any scoop about Transformers 4 filming, let us know about it at olv@onlocationvacations.com!
