‘Need For Speed’, starring Aaron Paul, begins filming in Northern California

This week Dreamwork’s Need For Speed begins filming in Mendocino County, California, just north of San Francisco.

The movie, starring Aaron Paul, Dominic Cooper, Michael Keaton, Rami Malek, and Imogen Poots, chronicles a cross-country journey at impossible speeds.

Over the weekend Aaron Paul tweeted, “Just landed in San Francisco and now heading to Mendocino to start rehearsals for Need For Speed. I hope they have my Bushmills at the bar.”

There’s no news on the Bushmills front but we do knowing filming began today on Highway 1 along the Navarro River in Mendocino County.

Need for Speed will also film in Detroit, Michigan this summer, after sending a couple months shooting in Macon, Georgia.
