Things are turning around on the set of Jane Got A Gun after the movie’s director quite and one of its stars pulled out just days before filming was set to begin in New Mexico.
THR is reporting Bradley Cooper has joined the cast of the Western revenge story. Cooper will play the villain role vacated by Jude Law, who dropped out of the project after director Lynne Ramsey left over creative differences.
Filming has already commenced in New Mexico on Jane, which is now being directed by Gavin O’Connor.
Natalie Portman stars in the movie as “a woman whose outlaw husband returns home riddled with bullet wounds. When her husband’s gang eventually tracks him down to finish him off, she is forced to reach out to an ex-lover and ask if he will help defend her farm.”
Joel Edgerton plays the ex-lover.
It is still unclear when Cooper will arrive in New Mexico as he is currently filming the Untitled David O. Russell Project in Boston and sources close to the movie will only say he “will shoot his parts at a later date.”
