Jon Hamm, Jim Parsons, Kathy Griffin, & Susan Sarandon among the celebs who came out to support Bette Midler’s new one woman show on Broadway

Last night the stars came out for the opening of Bette Midler’s one-woman Broadway show, “I’ll Eat You Last: A Chat with Sue Mengers” at the Booth Theatre in New York City.

As we explain in our NYC Field Guide, the Opening Night of a Broadway show can be among the best events to see celebrities in NYC, and Bette’s debut was no exception.

Among those who came out to see the show were Jon Hamm, Jennifer Westfeldt, Anjelica Huston, Glenn Close, Kathy Griffin, Susan Sarandon, Ali MacGraw, Martin Short, Ellen Barkin, Harvey Weinstein, Marlo Thomas, John McEnroe, Jim Parsons, Christine Baranski, Kathie Lee Gifford, Harvey Fierstein, John Benjamin Hickey, and Victor Garber.

In I’ll Eat You Last, Bette plays Sue Mengers, the legendary agent known for throwing the hottest dinner parties in Hollywood and making sure her clients remained the talk of the town. You can purchase tickets at telecharge.com.
