Four big budget movies are rumored to be headed to Hawaii this year.
According to PBN, Godzilla will spend a month filming on Oahu and another month on Kauai, after wrapping up their current shoot in British Columbia.
They also report the fourth installment of Jurassic Park will film in Kauai later this year.
Cameron Crowe’s Deep Tiki, starring Bradley Cooper and Emma Stone, is also expected to shoot scenes in Hawaii, along with Pirates of the Caribbean 5.
“Hawaii is a sought-after place for films,” said Georja Skinner, chief officer of the state Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism’s Creative Industries Division, which also oversees the Hawaii Film Office.
