Over the past few months more and more Hollywood studios have been turning their eyes toward Mississippi and the beautiful landscape they have to offer.
The latest of these movies is headed to Biloxi and will feature Snoop Dogg (who now goes by Snoop Lion) and fellow rap artist MacShawn100.The project is still untitled and so far not much else has been announced except that filming is slated to begin in late September.
The movie will be produced by Ian Martin who said the following about the project:
“I am very excited for this opportunity to work with Snoop and Macshawn. We have been putting the pieces together for quite sometime now and to see it all come together is a blessing.”
During this summer and fall two more movies will head to Mississippi too, the first is a murder mystery, while the second one is a fictional disaster movie co-starring Burt Reynolds.
The Snoop Dogg project is expected to debut at Sundance Film Festival in 2014, we will keep you updated when we know more.
