This week we’re launching a new series – Famous Eats, in which we will track down and spotlight restaurants owned by the rich and famous. First up, we’re taking a look at Fat Sal’s, a chain of sandwich shops co-owned by Jerry Ferrara.
Fat Sal’s is (self) described as “the creative culinary culmination and vision of three friends from New York. The group is made up of food lovers; Sal (Fat Sal), Josh, & Jerry (Jerry Ferrara, one of the stars of HBO’s hit show Entourage). These men set out with the goal of bringing mouth watering, over the top food to L.A.’s hungry and savvy residents. All of what is served has a unique emphasis on fun and creativity while stressing freshness and top of the line ingredients.”
Real customers seem to agree that Fat Sal’s food is top notch calling it, the “bomb”, “A foodie’s PARADISE”, and “too good”.
Currently, Fat Sal’s has three locations in Hollywood, San Diego, and Westwood, CA, with another location coming soon to Austin, TX.
