‘The Walking Dead’ panel at SDCC promised “craziest season” yet

On Friday, The Walking Dead executive producers Scott Gimple and Robert Kirkman promised Comic-Con fans the next season of the AMC series will be the craziest season so far.

“Things are definitely going to be way crazier and getting worse,” Kirkman said. “People are more ragged, more terrible things are happening and people are having to deal with it.”

“Right out of the gate we did things that blew my mind. It’s going to get very insane quickly,” Gimple added.

“All bets are seriously off,” Gimple said of The Governor. “I think at the end of last season, he was in a very dark place … he feels like [his people] betrayed him and that’s not going to go down well with The Governor … Something happened to him, something switched. He’s been thwarted in his desire to take the prison … a switch goes off in his head [and] I think we see him dealing with that switch.”

Check out a new trailer for the show’s fourth season, which premieres on October 13,  above.
