The new horror movie Animal is currently filming in the Manchester, Connecticut area, most recently in the Maude Dennison Cabin off Birch Mountain Road in the Case Mountain Recreation Area. Filming is to continue through mid-August.
The plot of the movie revolves around a group of friends hiding out in an isolated cabin, trying to survive in unknown territory as a blood-thirsty predator pursues them. Jeremy Sumpter, Elizabeth Gillies, and Keke Palmer star, and the movie is slated to be released in the spring of 2014.
