Filming is well underway on Clint Eastwood’s film adaptation of the Tony Award winning musical, Jersey Boys, in Los Angeles.

Originally the move was expected to shoot in New York or New Jersey with Jon Favreau at the helm but after he jumped the project it was moved to L.A.

The story follows the lives of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, a group of blue-collar boys from New Jersey who became internationally famous, and sold over 175 million records before turning 30.

Many of the Broadway performers are reprising their original roles, including John Lloyd as Frankie Valli, Erica Picininni as Lorraine, and Renee Marino as Mary.

Christopher Walken, Katherine Norducci, Erich Bergen, Vincent Piazzi, Michael Lomenda, and Mike Doyle have also joined the cast.

The movie has been filming at the SeaPort Marina Hotel in Long Beach, we’ve also heard they are at Ports O’Call in San Pedro today.
