After watching the movie Adult World film on location at Syracuse University back in 2012, we didn’t want to miss the movie’s premiere at the Syracuse International Film Festival last fall.
Though most of the cast – including Emma Roberts and John Cusack – skipped SIFF, Cloris Leachman was in attendance and accepted the fest’s prestigious Sophia Award, named after screen legend Sophia Loren, for career achievements.
Cloris was in a great mood for the screening, joking with the crowd and munching on popcorn.
The movie was filmed entirely on location and perfectly captures what Upstate New York feels like in the winter – it’s very, very cold.
The movie is still in theaters in limited release but if you can’t find it in a local theater, you can watch it now on Amazon.
