Apparently, The City was filming on Hudson St, NYC last week.
Things are looking bad for the future of filming in NYC. The fund that provides tax credits to productions filming in the city has dried up creating speculation that shows like Fringe and Ugly Betty that are filmed in the city specifically to take advantage of the tax incentives will skip town. (Thanks to Hilary!)
On the flip side, Boston is expecting a huge filming boom this spring. JT’s new show The Phone (they’re filming in L.A. now) Adam Sandler’s next movie, Ben Affleck and maybe even Steven Spielberg are all headed to Beantown.
