Mark Salling will transition from bad-boy Puck on Glee to Wall Street in Rocky Road this week near Toronto.
Salling stars as Harrison Burke, a trader for a Wall Street firm, but after downsizing he is found unemployed and in debt. He moves back to his hometown and lives in his parents’ home with the excuse of being on vacation. Without a job, he takes on a role in his father’s ice-cream truck business where he competes for his old route with a teenager. As Harrison settles in, he rediscovers his hometown and finds similarities between his father and himself. The movie will also star Scott Thompson (Hannibal) who plays the local pastor, and Robin Duke (SNL alum) as Harrison’s neighbor.
The movie is produced by Entertainment One, written by Tippi and Neal Dobrofsky (Window Wonderland), and Brian K. Roberts (Everybody Loves Raymond) as director and will premiere next year on cable network UP.
