Time to Play Find This House

One of our readers, Chas, is looking for an apartment used in Dexter. The apartment was Lila’s and was featured in two of the final episodes of Season Two, “Left Turn Ahead” & “The British Invasion”. The building is in downtown L.A. somewhere between 6th Street and Adams. If you know the exact address, let us know in a comment below, maybe we can even find a prize for the first person who gives us the right answer (with proof, of course).

  1. Ah that’s an easy one – I know my LA locations and since i watch Dexter i can tell you where nearly any location is. Its at the intersection of vista del mar st. and yucca street in Hollywood along side the Hollywood freeway.

  2. I have one i’m looking for too. The real Golden Girls house. A friend of mine has met each of the ladies and is a huge fan and i promised to take him to the house but I can’t find it. I know there was a copy made for the disney studios theme park in florida but its been torn down but the one seen on TV is in Pacific Palisades but i just can’t find it i drove around for hours. I found a lot of similar homes there but I’m afraid it may have been torn down as well.

    • John,

      Did you try this address…

245 N Saltair St. Los Angeles

House looks to be in Brentwood Heights just North of Sunset and a street East of Bundy. Let me know if it is correct. It seems to match up correctly with the screen shot I am looking at. I gave Christine my e-mail address to give to you. When you get it could you e-mail me as I have more places I have never found.

  5. Hey guys- I know this post is a few weeks old but I wanted to let you guys know about a website that finds filming locations in L.A. It is a site we advertised for a long time and as we are experts at finding where things will be filming, they are experts in where they were filmed, maybe you can challange them to find a few of your locations:
