Homeland, which is currently filming in Charlotte, NC, will not film scenes for the third season in Israel as originally planned.
The show spent several days filming on location in Israel for their previous two seasons and had planned to do the same after wrapping in Charlotte later this fall but, according to various sources, producers informed their Israeli contacts they will not be returning and instead will shoot the needed scenes in Morocco.
Producers cited the growing conflict in Syria as the reason for the move.
