We’ve already confirmed Star Wars: Episode VII will primarily be shot at Pinewood Studios in the U.K. but, like most large productions, we also know they’ve been looking at other locations around the world for additional filming – including Los Angeles, Iceland, Jordan, Scotland, and Ireland.
A few weeks ago Albuquerque Studios president Dana Arnold hinted that Star Wars was looking into New Mexico too, and now there is more evidence that might be true.
Our friends over at One Headlight Ink are reporting they’ve received confirmation from Disney that they will film scenes for Episode VII in New Mexico.
Filming on the first of the upcoming three Star Wars movies is expected to begin this winter at Pinewoods.
