The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 has been spotted at Carlton Farms, located at 1276 Cartersville Hwy in Rockmart, GA, where they are filming corn field scenes through Oct. 28.
Carlton Farms is a a family-owned and operated farm that is known for their seasonal corn mazes and hayrides.
The movie’s C4 signs have been spotted around the property since last weekend but so far there is no word on which of the movie’s stars have been on set.
Other recent filming locations have included Pullman Yards in Atlanta and Martha’s Mill (a frequent filming location for The Walking Dead as well), the former Tredegar building in LaGrange, and the Dundee Mills in Griffin.
The movie’s casting company, CL Casting, also continues looking for very thin extras this week. Their latest casting call, posted yesterday, is seeking thin framed African Americans to work Oct 29th and 30th. To see all of the mot recent posts, visit CL Casting’s Facebook Page.

It sounded like they were blowing up the farm yesterday!!! LOL. Exciting for our little town of Rockmart, GA, of which I am a proud resident! Thanks Hunger Games for a little excitement!
I’m just wondering what the C4 signs mean? There was a lady stating that these signs meant there was a C4 base camp on the Rockmart School property which I laughed at that one. I’m glad our little town made its mark in something.
C4 is the name of the movie’s production company
Never would have thought a big time movie would be filmed in our little town lol.
