Johnny Depp has begun filming a new film titled Mortdecai in London, which is based on the series written by Kril Bonfiglioli. It is an action-comedy based on the character of Mortdecai that appeared in four of Bonfiglioli’s novels.
Depp will be playing the title character of Charles Mortdecai, who is a shady art dealer and rogue who is traveling the world to find a painting with a hidden code that will reveal the location of hidden Nazi treasure.
The rest of the cast comprises of other big names such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Ewan McGregor, Olivia Munn, and Paul Bettany.
The movie is filming at Corbridge Crescent and The Oval through Nov. 16.
