Why pay big bucks for one of those SATC tours when you can actually meet one of the show’s stars for free six days a week?
Sarah Jessica Parker can currently be seen in Amanda Peet’s The Commons of Pensacola at the Manhattan Theatre Club in NYC. The show is in previews right now and will officially open on Thursday, Nov. 21.
Tony winner Blythe Danner, Michael Stahl-David, Zoe Levin, Ali Marsh and Nilaja Sun also star in the play about Judith (Danner), “a woman who has been divested of her assets and forced to leave her luxurious New York life after her husband’s Wall Street scam became headline news. When her daughter Becca (Parker) and Becca’s filmmaker boyfriend (Michael Stahl-David) pay Judith a visit to the one-bedroom condo Judith now occupies in Pensacola, Florida, everyone’s motives are called into question.”
Like most stars on Broadway, SJP has been taking time after each performance to greet fans and sign Playbills for those who saw the show. Sarah has been very nice to everyone and is happy to pose for pictures (though she has been known to ask fans if they saw the play though before taking a photo).
Check out the show’s schedule and buy tickets at Broadway.com. The play will run through Jan. 26, 2014.
