Despite the number of celebrities in London, Los Angeles, or Vancouver at any given time, I think the best city in the world to see celebrities or have an “On Location Vacation” is New York, and here’s a great story to prove it.
Back on Nov. 6 one of OLV contributor Denise was able to see celebs at three different locations in Manhattan in a matter of just a few hours.
Here’s how she did it:
First I went to David Letterman’s studio to see Natalie Portman. She didn’t sign upon arrival or exit, but I was able to get a shot of her on her way in. In between [Portman arriving and leaving] at Letterman, I took a break and starting walking a few blocks south and stumbled upon Romeo & Juliet [on Broadway] letting out from their matinee. I decided to stick around and see Orlando Bloom. He came out and signed for the whole line of fans. There were several tour buses parked there as well and I think groups of students attended the show. The fans were very excited to see him and he greeted everyone. Lastly, I headed up to Lincoln Center where there was an event honoring Karl Lagerfeld. He was doing a talk with Jessica Chastain so they arrived together.
And here’s a map of her walk:

And, finally, here are here photos to prove it:
