During today’s TCA Press Tour FOX announced 24: Live Another Day will premiere on Monday, May 5 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. On Monday, May 12, the drama premieres in its regular time of 9 p.m.

The event series will begin filming in London, where it will also be set, soon.

“We plan to shoot outside,” star Kiefer Sutherland said. “Things will be blowing up — cars, double decker buses. I’m sure we will be hated by a large portion of London for snarling their traffice, I apologize in advance! It will be very exciting to shoot with the Tower of London in the background. This is a huge opportunity from a storytelling point of view, as well. In this arc, we’ll be following the president and the prime minister.”

FOX execs also confirmed the series will take place over 24 hours, even though it will only be 12 episodes long.

The cast of 24: Live Another Day also includes Mary Lynn Rajskub, William Devane, Giles Matthey, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Michael Wincott, Yvonne Strahovski, and Judy Davis.
