‘Night at the Museum 3’ will film in New York City in February

As we’ve reported, Night at the Museum 3 is slated to begin filming in London and Vancouver next month, but it looks they will spend some time filming in New York City first.

A new casting call is looking for a wide range of men and women in the New York City area to play photographers at a black tie event on Feb. 5 & Feb. 6.

seeking: NON UNION– men & women, 20s-50s age range, to portray professional Photographers at a Black Tie event. You must own Black Tie attire or a dark upscale suit. This is a Night Shoot on Thursday February 6th in Manhattan. It is current season so you will be wearing outerwear & accessories. You must own a nice overcoat. DO NOT SUBMIT IF YOU DO NOT OWN YOUR OWN BLACK TIE ATTIRE OR UPSCALE DARK SUIT!! Please indicate if you own a professional camera to use as a prop or if you will need one provided. –2/5 & 2/6

20th Century Fox recently moved up the movie’s release date too, from December 25, 2014 to December 19, 2014.

Shawn Levy is set to direct Night at the Museum 3, starring Ben Stiller, Robin Williams, Ricky Gervais, Owen Wilson, Steve Coogan and Rebel Wilson.
