NBC has started production on a 4-hour miniseries adaptation of Rosemary’s Baby.
The movie centers on a young married couple who move into an apartment with a haunted past. After getting pregnant, Rosemary Woodhouse (Zoe Saldana) becomes increasingly suspicious that both her husband, Guy (Patrick J Adams), and their neighbor (Jason Isaacs) will have ulterior motives for her child.
The book was previously adapted into the 1968 Roman Polanski-directed feature set in New York. The apartment building in that film is one of the most famous in the city. The Dakota, located on W 72nd St, is also the building where John Lennon lived and died. Today, apartments in that building go for more than $29.6 million.
The latest version of Rosemary’s Baby will be set and filmed in Paris.
