Last fall we launched a contest that let our readers share their favorite celeb sighting stories and we’ve finally picked a winner!

All of the entries were amazing but we chose this one because not only was it a great story but it gave some sound advice to others hoping to meet their idols, too.

How many celebrities did you meet? 3

Who was the nicest celebrity? All 3 were very nice & friendly
– Which celebrity shrugged you off? None
Did you take pictures with anyone? Yes, All 3
– Who took the best photo?Matt Bomer
– Whose photo came out the worst? N/A
Did you get any autographs? No
– Who had the nicest signature?
Which set crew was the friendliest? White Collar – Most were nice, some not so nice but they were just doing their job…
– Which set crew made life miserable? N/A
Did you meet a celeb at a movie premiere or Celebrity event? No
– What’s your best advice for attending this event? Not an event but do have advise for any filming on locations…BE PATIENT & RESPECTFUL! Remember they are at work. If they crew ask you to move or be quiet, do it. I considered it a privilege to be able to stand on the street/sidewalk and watch them film. I witnessed some not so nice, disrespectful behavior trying to get past the PA’s to the celebrities. “Good things come to those who wait”. (It did me!!) 🙂
Close Encounters:
Did you come across any celebrities by pure luck? Yes, kinda. Was prepared to wait until after filming was done to hopefully meet Matt Bomer. Was walking up the sidewalk past the trailers and he came out of his as I walked by. He was very nice and took a picture with me. He wished me Happy Birthday twice (Yes, it was my birthday…he has no clue as to how he made my day…) 😀
Did you miss meeting any celebrities because of bad timing? Willie Garson. (He was sitting on the steps of his trailer but talking w/the PA’s of the crew. I wouldn’t interrupt or linger around. To much respect for them).
Which celebrity did you wish you had made more of an effort to meet? Willie Garson (wished I had waited in another area for the chance to meet him…next time) 🙂
Did you skip work or class to meet anyone?No
What was the longest you waited to meet a celebrity (with or without having luck)?With Luck…4-6 hours
What was the worst weather you had to deal with? 85 degree weather in October in NYC…wasn’t dressed for the warm weather but survived. 🙂
On Location Vacations:
Did you travel (vacation style) to meet any celebrities? Yes, I guess
Did you go to any conventions? No
Which celebs are a must see? Matt Bomer!
–How far are you willing to see them? I’ll go back to NYC in hopes to see/meet them again.
