According to E!, Blake Lively spent some time in Winthrop, MA this week where she was filming a sex trafficking TV special for PBS.
But, it wasn’t all work and no play for the Gossip Girl actress well she was in town.
Blake also payed a visit to BlackStrap BBQ where she and her crew enjoyed a three-hour family-style meal of smoked chicken, corn fritters, fried pickles, onion rings, collard greens, baked beans and corn bread.
“Blake was so down to earth, just like a girl next door. You can tell she is a very caring person, using her celebrity status to do good,” said owner Kate Economides. “Whenever I came to the table, Blake made it a point to look me in the eyes and say thank you.”
Before leaving the restaurant, Blake went up to Kate and told her she was from Georgia, adding that her restaurant “nailed it.”
