TNT recently gave a pilot order to a new crime drama from Ed Burns entitled Public Morals, and it looks like it is already filming in New York City.

Here is the show’s logline: “New York City, 1967. In the Public Morals Division, cops walk the line between morality and criminality as the temptations that comes from dealing with all kinds of vice can get the better of them. Cop Terry Muldoon (Burns) knows the line between the good guys and bad guys is thin, and he is determined to raise his sons to be honest and hardworking as he deals with the dark underbelly of the vice world.”

Burns not only stars in the pilot but is also writing, producing, and directing it.

Thanks to @TWSDanielle, we’ve learned the pilot is shooting this Thursday (2/20) and Friday (2/21) around W Broadway and Leonard St NYC.
