Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy were recently seen in Bolton, England filming the second season of the British TV series Peaky Blinders. They were reported to have been shooting behind Bolton Town Hall, and on set photos show vintage cars as well as men and women in period costume.
Peaky Blinders is described as a “gangster family epic set in 1919 Birmingham, England and centered on a gang who sew razor blades in the peaks of their caps”. Murphy is returning as the lead character Tommy Shelby, a man looking to “move up in the world.” Hardy is joining the cast this season as “a charismatic leader who presents a unique opportunity” to Murphy’s Shelby.
