The Wachowski’s (creators of The Matrix, Jupiter Ascending) are now working on their new series, Sense8, which will debut on Netflix late 2014 or early 2015.
A portion of the 10-episode series will be filmed in Chicago for 2-3 weeks in July. The story centers around 8 individuals (one based in Chicago) across the world who are linked together by a vision. J. Michael Straczynski, one of the writers and producers, has said that the show will be shown as one continuous story where the characters are all connected emphatically and can feel, see, and speak to each other. An unknown entity however is trying to hunt them down.
The show will also be filmed in other locations around the world such as London, Berlin, Seoul, Iceland, Mexico City, Nairobi, and Mumbai.
Shooting for Sense8 will begin late June, early July in San Francisco and will continue shooting in various other countries and locations.
