A new movie starring Patrick Wilson and Ian McShane has started filming in Utah. The Man on Carrion Road follows a botched Mexican cartel deal on the back roads of a border town. “The town’s new sheriff (Wilson) must team up with the retired lawman (McShane) he replaced to investigate the source of the deal in order to stop a mysterious cartel butcher (John Leguizamo) and his systematic brutalization of the town’s residents.” Nils Lyew wrote the screenplay.
Lynn Collins and Jim Belushi also star.
According to a recent casting call, The Man on Carrion Road has been filming in Magna, UT, just south of Salt Lake City.
