As the saying goes, desperate times call for desperate measures.
With only four weeks left on my Inkshares Project and $3500 left to raise, it’s time to sweeten the deal.
In case you haven’t seen my previous posts, the project is an all-inclusive guide filled with the best experiences all pop culture fans should have at least once in their lives, like volunteering at a film festival, being a movie extra, being a seatfiller at an awards ceremony, or hanging out with the paparazzi at Sundance.
To see this project through to fruition, I’ve teamed up with Inkshares, a new crowd-driven publishing platform, on 101 Places Every Pop Culture Fan Should See and need to raise enough money to cover the cost of publishing before I can get the book into the hands of fans.
To help reach my goal I am offering a special incentive for one week only in addition to the incentives I’m already offering to those who back my book.
Anyone who donates $50 or more between May 6 and May 13 will receive free advertising on OLV! This will include a story on www.onlocationvacations.com that will be tweeted to our 50,000 followers and promoted on our Facebook page. We charge up to $500 for this type of advertising on the site so this is a steal at $50!
And, the ad doesn’t have to be for a business, it can be anything you’d like to promote. Starting a photography website? Have a cool Tumblr page you want the world to see? Have you published an ebook? Started a non-profit? Or, get creative. Wanna propose to your girlfriend or send a message to a friend? *For $50 dollars I’ll post it, whatever it is (within reason, nothing naughty or inappropriate please).
