San Andreas, the new movie starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, is currently filming in Gold Coast, Australia, but it’s been reported that just within the past couple of weeks there has been some second unit shooting in California. Reports say there was filming in Los Angeles May 10th & 11th, and helicopters were spotted over Bakersfield May 17th. The Rock was not involved in the second unit work as he’s in Australia for the principal photography.
The movie is described as the story of a helicopter pilot who is searching for his estranged daughter in the aftermath of a major earthquake in California. Alexandra Daddario also stars.
