This week Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D‘s Brett Dalton and Castle’s Stana Katic began filming The Tourist in Florence, Italy.
The film follows Eric Lazard (Dalton), a heartbroken former college football star who “gets in over his head with a dangerous Florentine sport and an alluring local woman” (Alessandra Mastronardi).
Dalton shared a clue about the production’s most recent location a few hours ago. He posted an image of the famous Il Pescatore (The Fisher Boy) statue by Vincenzo Gemito which is located at the Bargello Museum in Florence.
He’s also shared a photo of the famous Hercules and Cacus sculpture which is located outside the Palazzo Vecchio in the Piazza della Signoria and a photo of the cast and crew enjoying a meal together (above).

I would rename the title of the movie to avoid confusion. The Johnny Depp movie “The Tourist” is from 2010 and Jolie’s 2nd latest movie. The movie is still fresh in people’s minds. Why should one want to be associated with a flop like Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck’ movie called “The Tourist”? Just my opinion :p
Had just asked the same question as I didn’t know if this was a remake of the Depp-Jolie 2010 movie (seemed too soon). Do you know if this is just a fun movie for SK or is this one to hlep “boost her career”??
