Philadelphia Film Festival Opens Tomorrow

Tomorrow night the Philadelphia Film Festival and Cinefest 09 kicks off with (500) Days of Summer. The movie, starring Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt is about about a woman who doesn’t believe true love exists, and the young man who falls for her. A screening of the film will be followed by a party on the 19th Floor of the Park Hyatt Bellevue in the hotel’s Promenade, Rose Garden and Bar, and Cafe XIX with light bites and a limited open bar. The film’s director, Marc Webb, as well as select cast members, will be in attendance.

10pm – 1am Opening Night Party

Other highlights of the festival include awards ceremonies honoring Jeff Daniels and Alfre Woodard, the closing night celebration including a screening of Lymelight, and Danger After Dark, a collection of the most horrifying genre films from around the world.
