Though the original story seems to have mysteriously disappeared (thanks to a cease and desist from WB maybe?), MLive had reported Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice would be filming a large scene today in Pontiac, MI today including police officers, firefighters, a SWAT team and EMTs.
Various sources have reported lots of activity happening the past few nights at the studio and the LexCorp site across the street in Pontiac. Though it is still unconfirmed if tonight’s shoot will take place on location or in the studio in Pontiac, we can be sure crews will be on high alert for lurking onlookers who might be trying to snap a few photos of the action.
In other BVS location news, there was also a lot of activity at the set being built around Sixth St and Abbott St in Detroit.
As you can see in the photos below, the set, which started with just a few stacked shipping containers, now includes a second structure across the street.
If you have any scoop about BVS filming in Pontiac or Detroit, let us know about it at olv@onlocationvacations.com or in the comments in our BVS Open Thread.
Thanks to Steven for the pics!
We’re keeping an eye on the set as it goes up! The building is very Gotham-like!
Please keep posting about updates. Hoping to see activity of them shooting this movie. So glad it’s in Michigan!
