‘Game of Thrones’ posts new casting calls for extras in Belfast

The cast and crew of Game of Thrones returned to Belfast this week to begin filming season 5.

Casting company Extras NI have posted a few casting calls this week – one looking for a dagger thrower and one looking for a bearded blacksmith – that appear to be for Games of Thrones, too. Check them out below:

CASTING CALL – BEARDED BLACKSMITHS

Hi folks. We’re currently looking for BLACKSMITHS who have a nice lengthy beard and (ideally) shoulder length hair! Must be available to film on MONDAY 18th AUGUST & TUESDAY 19th AUGUST.

If this is you please email maria@extrasni.com with ‘Bearded Blacksmith’ in the subject line and include:
– Full name, age, location
– Detail your blacksmithing experience/skills
– Phone number
– 1 or 2 clear and current photographs
– Measurements: chest, waist, height and shoe size

Casting Call *PRECISION KNIFE THROWER*

We are currently casting for a precision knife thrower (dagger thrower) for a production filming in Northern Ireland. At the moment there are 3-5 dates for this particular role over August & beginning of September.

If you have this skill and you have relatively flexible availability please email maria@extrasni.com and include the following:
– Put ‘Precision Knife Thrower’ in the subject

– height, chest, waist, & shoe measurements
– A description, CV, or online video links to describe or demonstrate your knife throwing skills
