On Sunday, Aug. 14 the 28th annual Nautica Malibu Triathlon will return to Zuma Beach.
The challenging race – consisting of a half-mile swim, 18-mile bike race, and a 4-mile run – always attracts several celebrities. Among this year’s confirmed participants are Jon Cryer, Teri Hatcher, Chace Crawford, Colin Egglesfield, Josh Hopkins, Mark Fuerstein, Jason Kennedy and Ali Landry.
Spectators are welcome to watch the event from bleachers at lifeguard tower 14 and at the finish line. The race begins at 7:00 AM.
If you do plan on attending, make sure you bring plenty of water and sunscreen as the temperature is expected to be about 90 degrees.
