This weekend one of American Horror Story’s stars will be performing his one-man stage show, An Iliad, in New Orleans.
Denis O’Hare (who played Spalding in AHS: Coven) based the play on Homer’s poem about the Trojan War.
O’Hare, who is in New Orleans working on AHS: Freak Show, will perform at the Contemporary Arts Center in NOLA on Saturday, Sept. 27 and Sunday, Sept 28.
“Opening night is basically a sellout, and we have a handful of tickets for the Sunday show,” CAC spokesperson Lindsay Ross Owens said in a midday interview Thursday. “We expect a lot of ‘American Horror’ cast members to be in the audience both nights, since they are filming episodes in New Orleans right now.”
There will also be an industry mixer on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. in the café inside the CAC. The mixer is free and open to the public.
Admission is $35 in advance (Saturday is already sold out), $40 day of show. To purchase go to cacno.org.
