‘Spotlight’, starring Mark Ruffalo & Rachel McAdams, filming in Boston this week

On Thursday, the movie Spotlight, about The Boston Globe’s Pulitzer Prize-winning 2003 series on the Catholic Church sex abuse scandal, was seen filming at the Red Sox game in Fenway Park.

The scene was shot in the stands with Mark Ruffalo, who stars as Globe reporter Michael Rezendes, and John Slattery, as Globe editor Ben Bradlee Jr.

Liev Schreiber , Michael Keaton, Rachel McAdams, and Stanley Tucci also star in the film.

The movie is only filming in Boston for one week before moving to Toronto for the duration of the shoot.

Tomorrow, Sept. 30, Spotlight is filming at 123 Boston St in Dorchester, MA.
