The house that was used in the filming of the 2005 remake The Amityville Horror starring Ryan Reynolds has recently come up for sale for $1.9 million.
The house, which is in Silver Lake, Wisconsin, was altered to be a replica of the original house in Long Island, New York. It’s almost 3,500 square feet and has seven bedrooms and two bathrooms. Other features to the Victorian-style home are a wrap-around porch, a removable pier, a boathouse and 400 feet of lake-front access. Photos of the property can be viewed on curbed.com.
While this house is not the haunted one, there were still some strange occurrences that can’t be explained, such as one night the security guard watching the house after filming had shut down supposedly found all the lights on the set on, but there was no one inside.
